- Are you sure you have the phone plugged into the right jack? Just kidding....
- Again, a light coming on does not mean the that it's faulty.

- Since it's "on occasion", it is not likely that there is a correlation
- between these events. No, you shouldn't have to power cycle the modem to
- clear up a problem but if the modem is not responding then I don't see
- what else you could do. Now, if every time you lifted the phone and the
- LED came on, the modem became unresponsive then I would say you need to
- contact USR, get an RMA #, and send the modem in for repair.
-
- But, before I did that, I would make sure that this happened on other
- phone lines...

- I have no idea what your expectations are. I paid a lot more than $200
- for my Courier. I paid a little less than $200 for my Supra, it does not
- perform as well as my Courier. I didn't, and don't, expect it to.

- If you sell faulty equipment, it comes back to haunt you in returns for
- refund, return for repairs, and loss of sales. What I see you doing here
- is reporting a glitch that does not affect performance (there was NO
- mention of any other problems and you even said the modem was excellent
- otherwise) until you responded to my message. In other words, I question
- your current report since it did not appear in the first two complaint
- messages.
-
- Now, you can rant about American corporations all you want but don't ask
- me to listen.
